Chad served as a firefighter with Jasper Alberta and Parks Canada and also served as a Captain on the Fire Brigade. After being diagnosed with PTSD and leaving the department, Chad took up a career in hospitality and  has a great passion for sports. Sports have been a big part in recovery for Chad. As Co-Founder of

Matt is a Canadian military veteran who served in Afghanistan with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2008, as part of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team. On December 13th, he was part of a patrol that was hit by an Improvised Explosive

Matt is a Canadian military veteran who served in Afghanistan with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2008, as part of the Kandahar Provincial Reconstruction Team. On December 13th, he was part of a patrol that was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device, resulting in 3 KIA. Upon returning home, Matt was eventually diagnosed with PTSD. After finding organizations such as Soldier On and Wounded Warriors Canada, he has found sport and activity an integral part of his post service life.

  • ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR


Tracy’s communication and organizational skills combined with her 20 plus years of both paid and voluntary administrative experience makes her a natural to assume the responsibilities of Administrative Director on behalf of Helping Heroes Heal Foundation.  With over 10 years experience in the MMA industry, she has come to know the ins and out of mixed martial arts. As a driving force behind the scenes, Tracy has made invaluable connections and has earned respect from every level of the MMA circles. Tracy has also made numerous contacts in the military and first responder communities and understands first hand the need for a foundation like HHH. Her partner is a former member of the Royal Canadian Medical Service with numerous years of experience in the military as a medic and as a civilian paramedic.  She is super thrilled to be joining our team and will certainly be a great addition to the HHH Foundation team.

Karl Wright spent fourteen years in policing. He is Peer Support and Assist Training Certified. Karl is a Sparta Project Participant, and his participation in this cohort has assisted in the implementation of their mission into his daily life. He has been able to transform the stress and trauma caused by violence,

Karl Wright spent fourteen years in policing. He is Peer Support and Assist Training Certified. Karl is a Sparta Project Participant, and his participation in this cohort has assisted in the implementation of their mission into his daily life. He has been able to transform the stress and trauma caused by violence, into resiliency, empowerment, and individual greatness.

Karl has a passion for helping those in need, and his passion is driven by wanting to help those who suffer from PTSD, depression and anxiety as a result of trauma.

This rewarding and fulfilling career has led to more than she could have ever imagined! Everyday she works with a diverse portfolio of sports + entertainment clients, on a wide variety of marketing, brand strategy, content management projects and events.

Patrice's clients include The Toronto Maple Leafs, The Hamilton Bulldogs, Warner Music Canada, PrimeTime Sports + Entertainment and more! 


Patrice is SO excited to be part of the Helping Heroes Heal Foundation team.

Aristotle Domingo is a double below-knee amputee, an adaptive athlete and Founder of the Amputee Coalition of Toronto. Since becoming an amputee, he has become a voice for the amputee community in Canada – advocating for rights for amputees, access to funding for prosthesis and care, and research so that they can live their best lives.

 Neil is a Retired Sergeant with 34 Yrs Service. He has done Communications Research, and was part of the Special Forces in Afghanistan in 2011. He has enjoyed golfing regularly since 2015.

Rick is a Retired Master Corporal who served with 2PPCLI. He stopped golfing for 10 years, but took it back up while recovering from PTSD. He finds sport makes him calm and able to enjoy life again.
